Custom Home Education Evaluation
At your location or mutually agreed upon location outside of the options on my calendar
Service Description
An hourly rate ($100/hour, billed in 15 minute increments) applies for evaluations scheduled outside of my published calendar dates or locations. To schedule, please email buntoneducation@gmail.com or call/text 724-413-3351. For the evaluation, I am required, by law, to do the following: 1. REVIEW the portfolio - for samples of the students work (not just printed grades) and a log designating by title reading materials used. 2. INTERVIEW the student (more of a pleasant conversation) 3. CERTIFY that the child is receiving an “appropriate education". The state defines appropriate as: A. Time required (180 days or 900 elem. hours or 990 secondary hours) B. Subjects required (not how much per year and not all subjects each year) C. Demonstrating sustained progress in the overall program If the child is in grade 3, 5, or 8, I am required to review the results of standardized testing and must do so to sign the evaluation.
Cancellation Policy
*To cancel or reschedule you have two options. If you create an account you can manage your bookings on your own. Otherwise, please contact me at 724-413-3351. *A 3.9% fee will be added to credit card payments. *You will not be charged this fee if you pay by check or in person. It may still appear during checkout due to a website limitation. *Late cancellations (within 24 hours of appointment) and no-shows will be required to pay prior to rescheduling a service. *Exceptions may be made for emergencies or illness on a case-by-case basis.
